About EmailCheckup
EmailCheckup is a KDTS company. It's how KD Technical Services Inc., a managed security and IT provider in Langley, BC since 2010, starts conversations about email security.
Why a checkup first
Most firms don't know what state their email is in, and they shouldn't have to take anyone's word for it. A checkup gives you facts before anyone talks about services: what's set up well, what isn't, and what it means for the firm.
Email is where most incidents at professional firms start. A stolen password, a forwarding rule nobody noticed, an invoice that looked like it came from you. It's also the part of IT that insurers, clients and regulators ask about first.
What happens after the report
You own the report. Your own IT team or provider can work from it, and the technical appendix is written so they can.
Or KDTS can fix it and keep it fixed. That usually means some mix of DMARC monitoring and enforcement, identity threat detection and response for mailboxes, Canadian-hosted Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace backup, endpoint security, DNS filtering and written policies. All of it is delivered under the KDTS Master Services Agreement.
